I am a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach who is passionate in supporting other women get healthy from the inside out. I have a practical, holistic approach to health & wellness, placing primary focus on the individual, not the “diet”.
My story is one you’ve heard before. I was active 6-7 days a week. I ran 5 miles every day. I went to the gym. I watched what I ate and counted calories. I considered myself healthy! But, I was also overworked and uninspired. I had relationship issues (big time!). I began to experience sleepless nights and suffered with digestive problems (big time!). My hair was falling out. I had night sweats at 40?! I was exhausted. I felt out of control, stuck in a body I wasn’t familiar with.
Chronic stress, low calorie “dieting”, intense exercise and extreme fatigue eventually took it’s toll on my mind and body. In 2014 I was diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue, Hypothyroidism and Estrogen Dominance (which explained the nights sweats!). I flunked all the tests my doctor ran. I was in trouble and I could feel it. My body was screaming for help through all these signals it was sending me. The message suddenly became very clear….it was time for change. Serious “life changing” kind of change. Determined to heal my body as natural as possible, I set out on my own personal health and wellness journey. Through lifestyle, career, behavior and dietary changes, I began to experience life again in a clearer, more mindful, happier and healthier way.
I went from surviving to thriving…I’m living healthier and happier in my own skin. I LOVE my job and am super excited to guide and support other women who feel they are stuck… who feel that tugging for change and who want support and guidance to make it happen. I feel it is my calling and purpose to provide a window of hope and education on healthier alternatives to women who are ready to make that life changing decision to live healthy on purpose!
“Good nutrition helps build the foundation for wellness. Nutrition extends beyond food, it is all the things that nourish our bodies. Nourishment comes from primary foods of life, including spirituality, career, physical activity and relationships.”
